Delete Hookmetry data

Deletion can apply to an endpoint, a public share link, or an account-level privacy request. Choose the scope that matches the data you need to remove.

Delete an endpoint

  1. Open Endpoints and identify the endpoint by name and capture URL.
  2. Stop or redirect the sender before deletion to avoid failed deliveries.
  3. Delete the endpoint from the dashboard or REST API.
  4. Remove the old capture URL and signing secret from provider configuration and secret stores.

Revoke a shared debug session

Revoke the link from the webhook log when external access is no longer needed. Expired links are rejected automatically, but revocation ends access immediately.

Request account or personal-data deletion

  1. Email privacy@hookmetry.com from the address associated with the account.
  2. State the account and deletion scope requested.
  3. Complete any identity verification needed to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.
  4. Preserve any records you are required to keep before the request is completed.

Automatic deletion

Webhook logs are also removed automatically after the retention period associated with the account plan.
